About the Organisers

Tripartite Alliance Limited (TAL)

Incorporated in March 2016, Tripartite Alliance Limited is jointly established and owned by Singapore’s tripartite partners: the Ministry of Manpower (MOM), the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC) and the Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF). TAL comprises three agencies: Tripartite Alliance for Dispute Management (TADM), Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP), and the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council.

Tripartite Alliance for Fair and Progressive Employment Practices (TAFEP)

Formed by the tripartite partners in 2006, TAFEP promotes the adoption of fair, responsible and progressive employment practices. It helps employers build workplaces where employees are respected, valued and able to achieve their fullest potential for the success of the organisation. Employers can approach TAFEP for tools, resources and assistance to implement fair and progressive practices. Employees who encounter workplace discrimination or harassment can also seek advice and assistance from TAFEP. Its work supports the shared vision of “Progressive Workplaces. Harmonious Work Relations.”

Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Council

The WSH Council is a statutory body under the Ministry of Manpower, supported by Tripartite Alliance Limited. It works closely with industry, unions, professionals, trade associations and government agencies to raise WSH standards in Singapore: building industry capabalities through programmes such as bizSAFE and Total WSH, promoting safety and health at work, and upholding industry standards through Codes of Practice and WSH Guidelines.
